While they met over a few orange crush's at Harbourside in Ocean City, Maryland - their roots bring them right back to home in Somerset County, on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland.  We met at their house on the Pocomoke River and began our session there... It quickly became apparent that he liked to be in fields, hunting deer and she likes to be dressed up in beautiful Italian Leather there's a beautiful "country" fabric that runs through both and with that, I believe these two have a bright future.  Here's their engagement session that began on the banks of the Pocomoke and then we meandered up to quaint Berlin, Maryland for a few downtown shots.    Finally we found ourselves on the outskirts of town in a beautiful field facing sunset and Drew was right at home... Scouting for deer... but I'm quite sure the best doe he'll ever find... he's already found, Jessica :)  Here's a sneak peek at their engagement session below! Take one part madly in love couple, and one deeply creative photographer and his equally creative wife and put them on a little beach with a beautiful sunset and you get this amazing engagement session.  We shot this on a little sliver of beach near the convergence of the Nanticoke River and Chesapeake Bay called Roaring Point.  I am confident when I say this... there is no greater sunset location in the world.   Trust me.  Here's the proof. When I met these two in my downtown studio I knew things were going to go well.  Everyone was smiling, they already loved my work and we just had to figure out a few details and then it was planning time for their engagement session.    Heather wanted to surprise Joe and I was all for it.  She booked a bed and breakfast across the street from the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and that's where this party started!  We went all over the place, explored new spots in St. Michaels that I hadn't been to and made memories that will last a lifetime!  Never before had I visited two bars and did (at least) two shots of Fireball during a shoot while they changed twice and we all had fun.  Many thanks for trusting in my work guys, and I cannot wait to shoot your wedding this fall, September 2015!  Here is the engagement session gallery below, and I hope you enjoy it!
