From Iceland, with Love

So this post is a continuation of a project I started on January 6th, 2016.  I wanted to shoot a wedding Iceland this year, and well, I made it happen.   I am just now back from the trip and a little vacation, but I wanted to post an update to the original story: 2016 - 2017 Iceland Wedding Project 28679725580_79841b7bcb_k

I am finally back from my Iceland summer wedding at Hotel Budir and the Black Church on the Snaefellsness Peninsula and I am absolutely speechless.  The landscape, the people, the lack of the concept of time during the summer and the will to do anything and everything we could took us to the edge.  And all I can say is that I will be back.  I loved shooting the wedding of Chad and Kirsten so much that I plan to be back in short time to get a northern lights trip in around the winter solstice!

I can now officially call myself a destination wedding photographer who is very willing to travel and hope to shoot many more Icelandic dream weddings!  I highly recommend you contact my friend, Fr. Paul at

Chesapeake Bay Engagement Session | Tony Weeg | Maryland Wedding Photographer

Take one part madly in love couple, and one deeply creative photographer and his equally creative wife and put them on a little beach with a beautiful sunset and you get this amazing engagement session.  We shot this on a little sliver of beach near the convergence of the Nanticoke River and Chesapeake Bay called Roaring Point.  I am confident when I say this... there is no greater sunset location in the world.   Trust me.  Here's the proof. Architectural Commercial Photography - Tony Weeg - Salisbury, Maryland

After a recent fire wreaked havoc in the offices of Delmarva Chiropractic, it was clear to everyone... a beautiful re-design was on tap.  The team at Gladden Construction came in and made this place a very warm and relaxing atmosphere with a treatment area reminiscent of a greek bathhouse.  The front counter and backsplash are elegant while the warm dark floor adds some amazing visual appeal.  I was hired to come in and capture the beauty for a magazine, website and a few other marketing materials and here is what I came up with, Enjoy! A Great Salisbury University Graduation Gift

Tuesday, February 17th was a complete whiteout in the beautiful little college town of Salisbury, Maryland.  I was out and about and decided it was the perfect morning to snag a picture of Salisbury University's Holloway Hall in a blanket of snow with a perfect white landscape in front of the school with not one single footprint and the result in Black and White is above.

Then I began thinking, this would make a great gift for an SU student or alumnus both and why not on a locally made PlakThat.Com "Plak" on beautiful wood, and then this was created.

This is a very low-resolution version of the actual plak that is made, but I can promise you, once it is complete and on your wall, it's very beautiful and will always strike up a conversation.
